Yoga off the mat
I’m always trying to find ways to integrate yoga into my daily life and that doesn’t always mean the physical movement or even on my yoga mat.
For me this is balancing the demands of my job as a nurse while being present for my family; some are finishing Uni, others getting ready for exams and transitioning to different schools.
I know that to manage this I have to take care of myself - and for me this can be meditation and right now, chanting and mantra.
On my recent trip to India I brought home a Harmonium that I am (a bit clumsily!) teaching myself to play but from which I get so much pleasure.
